While visiting the East Coast of Canada I had the opportunity to check out an intimate performance by Buck 65 at Reflections Cabaret in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Check out this acoustic version of Blood of a Young Wolf and view the playlist here to see performances of Paper Airplanes, Zombie Delight, Pants on Fire, Wicked and Weird, 463 and more.

After the show was over I stumbled across a few locals rhyming on the street. Check out their performance below. If you recognize these artists, please post their names in the comments section.

Back in May of 2010 I had the opportunity to witness the legendary Public Enemy live on stage at Element in Victoria, British Columbia. Unfortunately Flavor Flav was not able to make an appearance but Chuck D rocked the house with the S1W’s, DJ Lord and a full rock band behind him. Check out the video below to hear Chuck D speak out about hip hop music in our culture and view the playlist here to view some classic musical performances from the band.

The top 10 videos of 2012 from DDT Productions.

Kicking down the door at #1 with over 2,700 lifetime views is Jon Cohen’s Brain Pollution. This video is not only the first live music video that I have uploaded to YouTube but also the first video used for online promotion of live music from the Duncan Garage Showroom. Coming in at #2 is Marilyn Manson’s mOBSCENE; which is currently DDT’s biggest hit with over 8,600 lifetime views. Day of the Haircut completes the top three videos of 2012 and also comes in second on DDT’s hit list with over 8,500 views. The remainder of the top ten proves that Canadian punk rock is still alive and well in 2012. From the comfort of our personal devices, that is.

Although I enjoy all of the videos that I post, my personal favorite upload from 2012 is an acoustic cover of The Decline (NOFX) by Daniel Martin. This video has not yet been released to the public but you can check it out below.

There are a lot of live bootlegs queued up for release over 2013 including Buck 65, Melvins, The Slackers, B-Real, No Don’t Stop,The Queers, Mendozza and many more. Thanks for watching, following, sharing and liking my videos over the years. Stay tuned and keep sharing the love of live music.
